VISORS ARE EXTREMELY SUSCEPTIBLE TO SCRATCHING. 3. AIRCREWS SHOULD RECEIVE GROUND TRAINING PRIOR TO THEIR INITIAL LEP FLIGHT. AS A MINIMUM, TRAINING SHOULD EMPHASIZE THE FOLLOWING: A. SOME AIRCREWS MAY REPORT A DECREASED CAPABILITY TO SEE AS MUCH BLUE LIGHT THROUGH THEIR LEP AS COMPARED TO THE STANDARD SUN VISOR. PARTIAL WASHOUT OF HUD, TV, AND OTHER COCKPIT DISPLAYS CAN OCCUR. B. CONTRAST DIFFERENCES EXISTS BETWEEN THE LEP AND THE STANDARD SUN VISOR. UNCLASSIFIED
