fitted and available for immediate use.

	c. Prepare remaining ACDE (bulk issue) for storage/movement to
the CCA area for immediate use.

tion.
		MOPP LEVEL AND OPERATING PROCEDURES

1. Once MOPP LEVEL 1 or 2 (YELLOW) is declared, life support will:

	a. If not previously notified by disaster preparedness, contact
them to confirm CCA set-up location.

	b. Move stored CCA equipment/material and ACDE to CCA/TFA
location. Ensure all materials are covered and protected to the
maximum extent possible.

	c. Ensure ACDE is ready for immediate use.

	d. Install serviceable filters in CRU-80/P filter packs, if not
already accomplished.

	e. Ensure aircrew CBO masks w/filter packs attached are made
available to aircrews. The mask w/filter pack should be kept with the
aircrew while briefing.

2. ACDE requirements for MOPP levels 1 and 2. These procedures will
ensure chemical protection on the ground during flying activities when
a chemical attack is possible.

	a. During MOPP level 1 or 2, aircrews scheduled to fly will
wear below the shoulder ACDE (long underwear, undercoverall), carry
butyl glove w/inserts, overboots, overcape, and CBO mask w/filter
pack. An M-17 series mask w/hood should also be carried for rapid
donning if required.

	b. Aircrews not scheduled to fly will wear the ground chemical
defense ensemble (GCDE).

 	c. Once at the aircraft, the aircrew will store M-17 series
mask, gloves, overcape, and overboots in the cockpit (space permit-
ting). If space does not permit storage of these items in the cock-
pit, the crew chief will keep them for issue upon return from flight.

3. MOPP level 4 (RED & BLACK)

	a. If the MOPP level changes to 4 (RED) while aircrew is in
on/processing to the flightline, and immediate takeoff is not possible,
don M-17 series mask and butyl gloves and take cover. Don overcape
and overboots as soon as possible before transportation back to shel-
ter.

	b. Aircrews will keep ACDE (CBO mask w/filter pack) with them
