ANSWER: ATH beddowns are being delayed in locations where the supported units are not yet in place. . 2. QUESTION: What is the rationale for collocating ATHs? Are there plans to do more of this? ANSWER: ATHs are collocated to insure adequate medical care for a given population at risk. There are firm plans to collocate the Myrtle Beach and Homestead ATHs at King Fahd International. Jeddah and Riyadh are being considered for two ATHs each. 3. QUESTION: Describe the approval process for determining beddown locations for ATHs. ANSWER: ATH beddown locations are recommended by Col Leonard Randolph, CINCENT Acting Air Component Surgeon. These are validated by TAC/SG, BGen Buethe. Col Robert Belihar, CINCENT/SG, coordinates the beddown of all Services beds and is pleased with the Air Force beddown locations. Final approval for all beddowns locations rests with Gen Schwartzkauf, CINCENT .
