(Contaminated wounded a evacuated; uncontaminated wounded are treated as regular patients.) --- Medical treatment procedures, including cleaning burns, administering atropine, and giving blood tranfusions. -- Bacteriological weapons: Sources are not aware of any- bacteriological weaponry in Iraq or any units that possess them. They speculated that if in fact Iraqi units have them, they would be in proportion with chemical weapons, as they (chemical weapons) produce more casualties in a shorter period than biological weapons (Source: Joint Staff message, 160636Z SEP 90) - (U) Gen Schwartzkopf's interview with NBC is scheduled for broadcast on Mon, 17 Sep, "NBC TODAY SHOW".
