        8.   PSYCHOLOGICAL FACTORS
	
	Masirah is outside Iraqu SCUD range, thus eliminating the psychological
wear and tear entailed in frequent alert and MOPP level changes.  Although we're
confined to a very small area on the island, significant improvement in camp
condition (Social Club, movie theater, MWR Tent) have buoyed morale.  Several
patients have been seen for stress reactions, however the number has been very 
low within the context of the uncertainty and length of this deployment, and 
have generally been "tipped off" by events at home.
