             MAJ Saud on 30 See 90 at 11400.

                 lit.1 Cheek confirmed with COL r%lialaf that a meetine tiould hp held I Oct at
             1000 to discuss base camrs. Attendees inrlude COL Scearce. LTC Tomasik. COL
             O:Lele. and MAJ Kelly. COL Scearce was to have lunch with COL I'lialaf at the
             conclusion of the meeting.

             3. Prince Turki atil liG Paeonis discussed the Shedeum camo site at a 1600
             meeting today. COL Khalaf reminded us a5-atn t)its site was only teiat)orary until
             the construction of the base camps. He also said that all vortable buildines
             had been removed. He also inouired about rise number of Personnel and their
             location in the site uhich was not known.

             4. 'fhe falcon Fi.,ii-jard site was discussed. rOL Kitalaf discussed CO%Dotind 4.
             whirh was to be Rivun to the 3rd ACR. Site 2 is unavailable because the oil
             commssion had reserved this for foreien uor@er,,;.  Ile mentioned that there Ilik-I
             been strikes and other vroblemz there due to the multinational nature of the

             vetroteum site. flo ap-,wer has been received yet. but COL Khalaf believes there
             tiould be no Droblen. IIAJ Cheek asked if we could have definite c(.lnfirmation
             tomorroti and COL I'titalaf said maybe.
