           SUBJECT: Turn-in and Retrograde of Unserviceable Repairables


           1. Enclosed is a listina of unser\-iceabie -qa.jor assemblies "hat
                         '-Lii-n-in by 'he .'@9-d Maintenance @-at@@al4@on, 32d
           Airborne Division.

           2. Indi:,,atic)ns are 'hat  the list represents only the tip of -the
           iceberg @jhen it comes to   unserviceable repa  4rable turn-4ns. The
           24th Inf.---tntr,.,, Division @@) and 101st Airborne Division (AA) have
           also been tasked to provide similar lists. Contact with the 24th
           Infantry Division (M) reveals that they currently have 15 to 20
           S &, P loads of unserviceable turn-ins.

           3. Request that you advise this office when lst COSCOLM will be
           prepared to accept these turn-ins, what facility has been
           designated as the turn-in point, and what procedures will be
           fol,owed.
