           2.  Objective: To insure all personnel are trained to survive on an
           NBC Battlefield.

           S.  NBC Proficiency Testing will be conducted in four phases.

               Phase 1: Individual Proficiency Testing (see enclosure 1) to be
           scheduled by units.

               Phase 2: Team Proficiency Testing: Controled at battalion level
           (see enclosure 2). To be conducted on 4 DEC 90.

               Phase 3: Decon Proficiency Testing: Controled at battalion level
           at the washrack. To be conducted on 3 DEC 90.

               Phase 4: Control Party Testing: Map Ex at battalion. To be
           integrated into the CO training.

           4. Responsibilities:

               a. Unit commanders:

                   (1) During Phase I testing all personnel will be tested at
           unit level, under the suppervision of the unit NBC NCO.

                   (2) Provide the unit NBC NCO with the personnel and
           equipment necessary to set up and operate all the stations outlined
           in enclosure 1.

                   (3) Make avalible NBC NCO during Phase two, and three to
           test teams.

                   (4) Provide the primary operator and assistant operation for
           the following equipment for testing:

                       (a) MS alarm systems

                       (b) M25SAI Kit


                       (c) IH174 Radiac Sets


                       (d) AN/PDR 27 Series Radiac Sets

                   (5) Provide one Decon team for phase 3 testing, 8 soldiers
           and I NCO. Decon NCO should not be your 54B.

                   (e) Provide NBC Control Party for Map Ex, NBC Officer, NBC
           NCO and Enlisted Alternate.

        B. Battalion NBC NCO will be responsible for the supervision of
           all Phases of training.
