     mix paint or thiner. If a fire does start, it will give off
     extremely dangerous smoke. The best course of action is to call
     the fire department at once, then evacuate the area. A paint fir6
     will get away from you quickly so don@t go in for heroics.

     DO's and Don'ts


     1.  No SMOKING in work area.

     2.  SMOKE in break area only.

     3.  Respirators will.be worn at all times when around paint tents.

     4.  If you have a respirator on, sleeves will be rolled down.

     5.  Painters will wear fresh air respirators, protective suits and
     gloves at all times when painting is being done.

     6. Paint mixers will wear respirators, prtective suits and gloves
     at all times.

     7. Drivers will wear respirators, protective suits and gloves when
     in painted vehicles.

     8. Vehicles will be allowed to dry for a minimum of 10 min. before
     moving from paint booth.

     9. Ground guiding will be done oh all vehicles.

     10. Ground guides will wear respirators and, have sleeves rolled
     down until out of the danger zone.

     11. No fuel or paint/thinner will be poured unless it is bonded and
     grounded.

     12. No painting will be done outside of the paint booth.

     13. All paint cans and thinner will be stored away from paint booth
     and be kept as cool as possible.
     14. All empty paint cans and thinner cans will be stored in the
     area marked hazardous waste. Empty cans will not be thrown into
     trash cans or dumpster.

     15. Drivers and ground guides will stay in the break area until
     called to move their vehicle.

     16. No vehicle will be running during painting operations.
     Vehicles must be out of the danger zone to be running.
