                                     3.       1CAV Status.                 SC Guest reported that !CAV should be
                           finished on the desalination plant washrack on or about 1.0 APR.
                           Plan is for IrD to follow.

                           from BG Guest: "I could keep you here for 2 hours with horror
                           stories".              40mm grenade recently exploded in a duffle bag.
                           Another search in an unrelated incident bagged 25 AM-47s and a
                           Soviet mortar. Even pistols have been foun-4 concealed ii grease
                           carts. Several cases of commissioned officers trying to conceal@
                           hand guns and hand grenad@s.

                           SUPCOM RAA CDR.                     Selective units may be misunderstanding some
                           basic requirements. Main points are:

                                              a.       All POMCUS items will eventually be turned-in at
                           KKMC.


                                              b. No POMCUS equipment will be @ur-ed-in unt4i the DA
                           team     issues ciispos4-tion instructions. Team siateh to arrive this
                           coming Friday. 19 APR, but will most likely not be able to issue
                           disposition instructions until early the foll-cwi:ig week.

                                              C. POMCUS equipment wil'- neert to be c'@ean@-.@ to same
                           standards as            that going to Europe.
