       11) The MST and medical crews will depart as a combined team to the
   irea of concern, working together to extract casualties -From vehicles.
   'he medical crew will assess the casualties and begin battlefield triage.
   .he senior aidman will control the medical mission.


       12) Ambulance platoons of the FSB will establish and maintain
   Communications with their unit.


       13) All vehicles (medical and non-medical) will not depart to the
   -c?ar without prior coordination with the nearest medical resource, the
   -tit3r., or thla MCD f(nrl poosibla casualty evacuation. Ambulances will
   -ransport needed Class VIII forward after dropping off patients at the
   -ear.


       14) Medical vehicles will not be used to transport deceased personnel
     non-medical supplies and equipment.

       15) Aeramedical evacuation.


            a) AirEvac helicopters will provide aeromedical evacuation
   Support as far -Forward as METT-T allows.

            b) Dustoff resources located at the FSBs and the MSS will be
   .tsed to transport patients to corps facilities. Planned allocation is as
   ;Ollows: each FSB and the MSB, two (2) UHIVI Drear, four (4) UHLV.
   'ommand and control of the air resources lies with the 328th Med Bn
   -ocated at the DREAR. Medical company commanders will coordinate mission
   support with their attached crews.

            c) Primary MEDEVAC frequency is 39.15 in the RED, old squelch
   3FF: alternate 40.15. Format for requests is in the SOI.

            d)   Requests for air ambulance evacuation is as follows:

                 Line I  Location of pickup site: USE LAT LON
                 Line 2  Radio frequency, call sign, and suffix
                 Line 3  Number of patients by precedence.
                 Line 4  Special equipment required.
y type. (Litter and Ambulatory)
                 Line 6  Security of pickup site.
                 Line 7  Method of marking pickup site.
                 Line 8  Patient's nationality and status.
                 Line 9  CBR Contamination

                 * Use most effective means available for marking pickup site.

            e) Hospitalization. 341st Medical Group supports the 1AD.

                 1) VII (US) medical facilities supporting VII corps are
   listed in Appendix 1.

                 2) The 807th and 912th MASH will support the IAD and move
   with the MSB. Locations will be       ii                come available.
