              At 2000 hours, the'TFs combat Pomm and center oF mass, was passed to
         the TOC. TF :S-5 CAV (PU 71;51.38) report@ 13 MLAI*S, 4e M2/Z'sv and 6 M106s;
         TF 4-32 AR (PU 710154) with 43 MIAl's, 18 M2/3's, 4 M106's; TF 4-;S4 AR (PU
         7101.15) had 44 MlAl'si 13 M2 (no M3s), 6 M113A-3's, 5 M106s; and both 2-3 FA
         (PU 667160) and 2-29 FA (PU 641178) with 23 operational M109A2's each. 503
         FSB reported its position as PU 616137.
              AT 270010CFEB91, the RFCT Cdr dir@s 2-3 FA to plan harassing/
         intl-rdictry MM fires all the way out to the PU 85 north-south grid line and
         that the Bde FSO and S-3 were to work targets in conjunction with the maneuver
         elements. Later at 0030 hours the commander of 2-3 FA informs the RFCT
         commander that the N/I package would begin on order with two guns per target
         from both 2-3 FA and 2-29 FA. The fires win be for a 40 minute duration;
         targets are to be east of the PU 75 north-south grid linel but west of the PU
         85 north-south grid line.   Between 0030 and 0300 hours, thirty H/I missions
         were fired forward of the RFCT's FLOT along the 76, 77, and 78 north- south
         grid lines. At approximately 270145CFEB94 the RFCT TAC informs the TOC of
         the brigades new mission via FM: The RFCT was to maintain contact with the
         enemy with either ground or OPCONL-D air assets. The direction of attack WU
         be east-southeast with a narrower sector than before. 3 BDE will conduct a
         forward passage of lines through 2 BDE in the north. TF 5-5 GAV is to be
hed to 3 BDE effective immediatly. In preparation for the morning atta@
         2-3 FA prepared a ten target prep schedule In support of the RFCrs movement.
         Known and suspected enemy locations were targeted. Because of the Division's
         southern flank (ergo the RFCT's flank) was not tied in wel4 only one target
         was actually fired as a prep when the att@ commenced.
