              handed over the battle to 3d.Brigade at 1121 hours and passed into reserve.
                  When 2d Brigade started moving east again at 1406 hours the battlefield was
              quiet. The Hamurabi Armored Division was in full retreat toward Basrah after
              watching the collapse of the Tavjalcalna and Madinah Divisions. The Egypt4ans
              had linked up with our Marines and were still moving north. We destroyed
              equipment as we moved east.
                  Our part of the battle was over. The pext morning, 0800, 28 February, the
              cease fire went into effect and the war was over.
