We did, when we Could I)i-eAk Out some targeti7, try to engage with
fiellfir-e missiles. But our Hellfii-es would not launch. I'm not
sttrc, why. At that little.. it Assumed -tlial. it was due to bid laser
return. rh(e heavy team was able to (.?ngage the tar(lets because
they were probably two "klicl@s" closer,, ).n relation to the
targets. The Air Force mavericks were coming down. You could
see the mavericks hitting the ground- At some point , Clue to
'fuel status, we bad to break station. That meant we had to go
back to rearm and refuel. It was about 1100 when we flew back.
We departed the Bl@ and flew to l@Ar(P 1-4issai-i. Once we arrived at
N.ir,iiaii, we found Out they only had enough gas to take on an
a(ldi.tioi,iA] '-IOO Pounds (usually we take 2,;QO). Then., while At
the FARF", the aircraft that expended ordinance were, sent to
rearm pads and were rearmed. The ground crews at the FARPs were
really good. Our guys worked their asses off. We had an open
FARI@. That meant that we had everybody in the CORPs getting
ammunition and fuel. Our crews were working on everybodies
aircraft, once the battle started.

told it would be a twenty minute wait while we were sequenced
in. Rkther than burning fuel we landed and parked next to a
ground convey, which ended up being our own guys.
We sat ttiero with the engines running for about 45 minutes. We
