  SUL;JECT: VII Corps CARC Painting Policy


  1. (U) Given current supplies of paint and estimates of capacity at both
  Jubayl and Dammam intermediate staging areas, the following types of VI!
  .Corps vehicle will be painted +or Ist AD, 3d AD, and 2d AD (Fwd).
      - Tanks
      - Bradleys
      - Command and control vehicles (both M577s and M113s)
      - CEVs
      - Engineer breaching vehicles (Mll3s and breaching equipment
                                     such MICLIC)
      - FSTVs (M981)
      - Stinger HMMWVs

     (U) Priority by unit in the North is lst AD then 2d AD (Fwd). In the
     th, priority is 3d AD. We do not intend to paint Divisional or VII
     ps Artillery battalions in intermediate staging areas given current
 #tuimates of capacity and paint consumption. However, should you have
  unused capacity, or more paint becomes available, this may change.

  7s. (U) The daily -Flow of vehicles into your paint sites will be controlled
  by Vil Corps units being painted. Do not prioritize at the paint site
  among various types of vehicles; painted unit should do this. Should
  difficulties arise on types of vehicles to be painted or flow, contact VII
  -orps Port Support Activity Task Force Commander at each port.

  4. (U) Units may submit special requests for types of vehicles (such as
  s=out HMMWVS) or for changes in priority (e.g., to,fneet movement
  schedules). These must be approved by PSA Task Force Commander or me.
