           1. MAJOR SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES (LAST WEEK)

             a. At KKMC the 1012th GSU and the Host Nation Warehouse
continue activities at a slowed rate.

             b. The Host Nation Warehouse continues activities also
                at a slowed rate.

             a. Al Zamil was put on the disapproved list after a special
sanitary inspection at Jubail brought about by reports
from 422nd and 7th Corps inspectors about plastic in
ground beef meats. No additional shipments are being
accepted at either warehouse. Ground beef currently
on hand at both warehouses has been inspected and all
lots passed and will be issued. Refused lots may be
diverted to troops or caterers. Inspectors are watching.

             d. The two EPW camps are in the process of being turned over
to the Saudis. The Saudis have control of approximately
26,000 prisoners as well as the Central Issue Facility.
MP soldiers are present, in large part, as advisors. The
402nd camp has essentially completed the turnover. The
MP mess is being supported by the Hafr al Batin Warehouse.
The 301st camp is completing transfer within days. The
301st messes and one transient holding area with approxi-
mately 1,000 prisoners are also being supported by the
Hafr al Batin Warehouse. The Saudi prisoners are being
supported from the Saudi Warehouse at KKMC. We are
recommending that 422nd soldiers return from the EPW camps
rehouse will be
tasked to visit the Wolfmobile several times weekly.

             e. CPT Sutton and her team are investigating a possible food-
borne illness at the 410th Evac Hospital where they are
                billeted.

             f. SGTs Kidwell and Hansen have departed KKMC to meet with
the 44th Med Brigade. We understand that they will rede-
                ploy with the 18th Corps.
