Gl's were reported ill after consuming some of these NATO
rations. One GI reported eating hamburgers. These rations
could not be identified as the cause of this incident.
               11. Vehicle #9 is again deadlined with transmission
               problems. All generators are up.

               12. SGT Dixon has received 8 pr. size 9 boots and chemical
bags. Nothing else available. LTC Bandini at G-6 says that
7th Corps must be issued more sets of DCU's and if there's
any left we might get what's left. otherwise we have to
wait for the next ship to get in. G-6 says that they don't
have any priority for units to get DCUs except that 7th
Corps comes first-and any other units need only receives 1
               set before redeploying.

               13. Two truck loads of United Factories meats from
disapproved sources have been refused at the Hafr Al Batin
HNW in the last two weeks. We suspect that it has been sold
in the local economy and are concerned that some purchasers
               may be military personnel.

          2. PLANS SUMMARY FOR NEXT WEEK.
               1. The unit is working on OERS, EERS, and awards.. These
must be completed while COL Trask is here 17-20 March 1991
               or NLT 23 March 1991.

               2. "Lessons Learned" and Field SOPs are also being worked.

               3. MAJ Gross will fax and put in priority mail the units
request for assistance from the 309th in preparing promotion
packets. He will fax and send a request for medical
retention boards for Mitchell, Blair, Bohanon, and Land,

               4. Personnel and Vehicle assignments will be re-assessed
and adjusted on a continuous basis.

               5. When the 888th Med Det (JA) re-deploys the 422nd appears
sources to staff the 1012th GSU without
               additional soldiers from the 483rd.

               6. one or two soldiers are scheduled to go on the Love Boat
               this next week.
