               d. Critical shortage of copier availability is becoming
               urgent-rapidly decreasing ability to disseminate public
               health information to MSTS.

               e. Revise vehicle security measures due to theft of
               vehicles by front line troops because of non-availability of
               repair parts.



          3. COMMENTS, REMARKS:

               a. Morale declining due to nonavailability of uniforms,
               supplies, repair parts, and mission essential and critical
               equipment. In addition, the ingenuity and initiative for
               obtaining needed equipment has been administratively stifled
               by edicts preventing mobility from higher headquarters.
               Since no supplies are available here, suggest that supply
               sergeant be stationed in Riyadh and allowed to return to
               Dhahran on a weekly basis with the higher headquarters to
               track supply requests at the port.
