         Continue to monitor progress of the move to Khobar Towers.

         Continue to develop@ plans for operations, communications and
     movement throughout the entire rear and forward area.

         Preparing the inbriefing for BG Sikora's Personnel Broup Commander's
     ran-Ference.

     S. COMMANPER'S_COUMENTS:
         Officially welcomed the 460th Replacement Detachment today at Cement
     City. Talked with the Company Commander, discussed my intent and concept
     for future operations.

         Conducted a meeting with the Division GI/AGs today. Discussed plans
     for future operations and the concept for supporting divisions in the
     Corps. Attached personnel service companies and postal platoons will
     provide support to divisional forces forward.

         Mail volume for the month of December was very high. Our postal
     companies processed 9,125,129 pounds (4,S63 tons) of incoming mail and
     1,933,079 pounds (967 tons) of outgoing mail. Postage sales totaled
     $187,137.36, while postal finance sold a total of $100,525.89 in money
     orders. The postal companies supporting the Corps have done a tremendous
     job during the month and particularly during the holdiay season.
