        2. The following are the listed qmtims:

            a. Dmlo@t: Was Your unit t)rmwed for an overseas deplowmnt?

Yes, but not in the @ it bappmed. The unit had aim" trained for
deplommt by ing to drive, then fly to it's destinatim. For this
deplommt, the @pmt was sent by 4ap and it's soldiers by cmtract civilian
aircraft. Both play by different rules than what we train, i.e. @ing radios,
coverinu trucks, and mmitive @wmt to protect from salt water
corrosion. You can load them heavier thm m aircraft, btit you have to pack tighter
and do more bracing to prevent shifting. We also had to send one of our soldiers as
a sqwcargo of the classified publications.

The biggest problem durim loadotxt was everytum we remved or had now
eqLuMmt reqlurmmts, we would have to reconfigure the vekacles " trailers. This
kept things in a smll state of frustration, but was easily overcome

                              How was installation support?

overall, it was outs . The Iwtallation and Sergeant Major
amtimially all suipply and mainterance support was available. Ft
LwAs swply and EDC couldn't do . The mly problem we @tered was
getting acm of the civilian types to understand that we were going to war and not
usually overccne with a phone call to the EDC if
the problem was at Ft. Lewis, or a phme call to the Installatim if the
problan occurred at Yakine Firing Center.

Address Previom MM t@ and its effectiveness.

Proviom @ training was effective for a short tem ndssim with short
tem.solutims, not the ed lmg situatim. We were also facing a harsher
onviroment, grew to a diffwmt theater of operations, had liudted space on the
vehicles due to additioml r@red "awmt, equi@t shipped by ship, and the
unknown of what support nay be at the other @.

            b. Mobility: Discuss vehicle and transportatim Problem.

One problen was trying to find out if we were traveUM totally by a air or
