                Corri received a call from the JFCN LNO Tm at 1515 hrs
             that the Saudi border guards were planning to occupy border
             post at 3007N and 4326E. This border post is right in front
             of the French. The Saudis say that they are occupying this
             position because they have not seen any screen forces in this
             area for a week. They also plan to occupy all the border
             guard posts to the NW of this position and they planned to do
             it by dark today. Cerri passed the information to CTIOPS,
             French LNO, Arcent Main and Lucky Tac. Cerri was informed by
             Patterson, XVIII OPS, that this wasn't a good thing to happen
             because the Saudis would probably get shot. Cerri passed
             that message to the JFCN LNO team and suggested that JFCN
             contact ARCENT or CENTCOM. Cpt Rodriquez called back at
             approximately 1715 to say that he had contacted CENTCOM.
             They were aware of the action and had OK'd it. Corri passed
             that information to COL Coats at 1733 hrs.
