ANNEX I - SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL

The following procedures apply to solid waste disposal for units
located on KKMC only. Units in Corps/Division Redeployment Areas
(DRA) must dispose of refuse in their own area of responsibility
according to ARCENT LOI. Units outside of the KKMC area are not
authorized use of the KKMC landfill with the exception of
         hazardous waste.

         1. Normal solid waste (non-hazardous). Waste may be disposed
of either in the division operated landfill (should be opened,
operated and closed IAW TM 5-814-5, SanitarV Landfills, dated
August 1983) or the KKMC landfill. Coordinates of location and
size of closed landfills will be reported to DEH by the RAA LNO.

         2. The KKMC landfill is separated into six areas for solid
waste disposal. Waste should be separated accordingly and dumped
in the landfill located in area 17, southwest KKMC. See
attachments for specific location of landfill and the disposal
areas within the landfill. The waste categories are as follows:

             f. Hospital Waste
