SUBJECT: 513th Military Intelligence Brigade Task Force to
Kuwait City Restoration - Situation Report (U)
f U Medical intelligence. Overall general medical
care go@ to appear degraded. However, the general health
of the population seems to have deteriorated very little. Each
operational clinic appears to have supported its population quite
extensively. This support included house calls and the
establishment of "unofficial" clinics in residences. Preventive
medicine measures were administered with evident effectiveness.
Through discussions with clinic adminstrators and medical
directors, the Iraqis appeared to be more tolerant with clinics
staffed by Jordanian or Palestinian personnel. overall, these
clinics seemed to be largely undamaged by the Iraqi forces.
