       1. ISSUE: MWR  in the Division Redeployment Area

       2. AAFES   Close coordination continues between Corps, AAFES and
       unit MWR advanced parties to provide the following:


          a. Large direct exchange in each DRA with over 10,000
       soldiers.

          b. Concessions - Gold, souvenirs, rugs

          C- Fast Food - Pizza, (plus Wol+burger)

          d. Catalog Sales

          e. Ice Cream


          Recreation Centers


          a. Civilian directors have been assigned to the largest DRAs
       full time and on an advisory basis to smaller DRAS.


          b- Directors provide assistance in planning, constructing,
       resourcing, managing, and programming of the recreation center.

          C. Units provide assistance in construction and staffing.

       4. Athletic and Recreation equipment - Sports and game kits have
       been provided from Germany to augment the'e tiipment brought by
                                                  .q
       units from home'station.


       5. Communication   AFN Radio covers all DRA. Stars and Stripes
       will be provided throughout the DRA phase. Current divisional
       and COSCOM phone banks may continue to be used in the DRA.
       Additional phone banks are expected.                    - -. 1. -


       6- CORPS POSITION: MWR services will be operational and ready
       to accept soldiers as they enter the DRA from Kuwait and Iraq.
