1. MAJOR SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES SUMMARY (LAST 24 HOURS):

a. Units conducted unit maintenance, NBC, CTT. and base camp
construction. Sand table rehearsals and gunnery skills training were
conducted by 2/3 and 3/3 ACR.
b. 4/3 ACR continued AH-IF transition.
c. LNO'5 were redistributed and returned to MSC's today.
d. Conducted coordination with 12th Avn Bde on passage of lines.

2. CHANGE TO EXISTING PLANS AND REASON:

a. 3rd ACR continuing coordination and refinement of plans based
on results of I@Ist AA DIV passage of lines COMMEX/TEWT.
b. 3d ACR OPLAN 91-1 will be finalized and briefed to subordinate
units 28 OCT 90,

-rR aO 3. PLANS SUMMARY FOR NEXT 24 HOURS:

a. Squadrons continuing unit maintenance, NBC training,
CTT, and collective training.
b. 3/3 will conduct chalk board exercise.
c. 4/3 ACR continuing daily flight training and aircraft
maintenance. Will continue AH-IF transition.
d. SPT/3 continues to support. Sustaining classes of supply.
a. 66th MI will conduct 6SR and EU training at platoon level.
f. 43 CEC will continue countermobility/mobility training while
continuing to improve RSA/MSR.
g. 89th CML will relocate to now AA north of Tap Line Road vLc
TL 52SSOI.
h. Continuing reconnaissance of DESERT SHIELD CF positions.
L. 4/3 SCO and RS-3 will attend 12th AVN BOE backbrief.

4. COMMANDER'S COMMENTS:

8. Regimental Commander gave 90 minute OPD's to SPT/3 and 3/3
today.
b. RS-5 and ARS-3 training officer made initial contact with
elements of the Sth RSALF on training and maintenance.
C. 3 ACR has requested all training resources to begin small arms
and tank gunnery ranges. Has begun coordination to acquire use of
Saudi small arms range in sector.
