            S'LJBJECT:  Redistribution of Battle Dress Overgarments



            I    Tlie uiit of issue for battle dress overgarments (BDOS) is two
            Der soldier.    @jaiiy units have drz-,wn more than two per soldier.
            Some units have drawn BDOs even though they are not on the
            "PFDL.   As a result, the warehouse is zero balance in small and
            m--dium BDOS, and there are still mary u-i'.ts needing to draw.

                 Unit commanders must verify that each deploying soldier
            receives'one properly Eitting BDO.         Units should maintain the
            second set at unit supply.

                 a. For units currently on TPFDL 182SK, turn in excess BDOs
            (,.-hose above the two per soldier issue) to the 289 GS Co (BDO,
            warehouse) .   Proces's DA Forms 2765-1 for turli-in through the 4th
            '@IIMC, Troop Support Division.

                 b. For units not currently listed on TPFDL 182c-K, return all
            @'DOs to the warehouse. Units are not authorized to draw BDOs
            i)rior to being officially listed on the TPFDL.

                 C. BDOs returned to the warehouse must be in serviceable,
            vkyibroken barrier bags.

                 d. Division G4s/separate brigade S4s will notify !II Cor:)s
            C4 when excess turn-in is complete.

                 e. Report    shortages, by size,.to the III Corps G4.
                 Once units   have coinplet-ecf'turning in excess and reporting
            shortages by size, III Corps G4 will direct the issue of BDOs to
            Z411 reported shortages.

                 b.   4th CIIMC will verifv req,,isitions wic!i unit TPFDL status

            no major discrepancies, 4th CliMC will process the          request a-rid
            -Irect the unit to the warehouse to pick up their           BDOS.    DOL -,;ill
