troops have carried the Army through this war. The armored
forces never had to stop due to lack of supplies or
logistical support. This war was won during Operation Desert
Shield before the first shot was ever fired. This was the
truck drivers' war.
7 March - 702 FRAGO 12-91; Mission: D Co will move its
vehicles off of the Port of Jubayl to an area in the vicinity
of Jubayl. The area on the port is needed to marshal
equipment of redeploying units. On order, be prepared to
relocate A Co from Jubayl to Dammam, and D Co from Jubayl to
Log Base Bravo.
Relief supplies are carried to Kuwait by the En's trucks.
8 March - Routine operations.
9 March - Operation Desert Calm ends.
