                                       Using the Autoinjector

          1.  ADMINISTER CONVULSANT ANTIDOTE FOR NERVE AGENT (C-AN-A7
              A. Take out the casualty's CANA autoinjector. The CANA autoinjector
              can be distinguished from the Mark r by its clear plastic packaging.
              CANA is not for use as self-aid. If you know *6.P you are and where
              you are, you most likely do not need CANA.


                                               DANGER


                             DO NOT USE YOUR OWN CANA ON THE CASUALTY.


              B. Tear open protective plastic packet by pulling apart the split-end
              of the autoinjector.
















                                             FIGIJRE 1.

              C. Determine injection site (thigh or buttocks). (Outer middle of the
              thigh is preferred.)

                  ]. Check casualty's pockets for items that may interfere
              with injector.

                 2. Check size of the casualty's thigh muscle.
