ICC briefed.
- 1702 Track passed from ICC, possible Iraqi F-1, Mirage. Off scope
at 1705.
- 22-40 H2/H3 SCUD sites are active.
NOTE:
Received additional guidance from VII Corps on increasing security in
anticipation of possible terrorist type activity. Guidance and
instructions passed to subordinate units. I
Commander briefed as events occur if located in BTOC, if not in BTOC
briefed upon his arrival. S-3 also briefed to ensure ICC gets necessary
information passed to them +or appropriate unit alert status changes.
Due to poor log reporting the source of a number of SCUD alerts is not
known, as the operation continued the logs improved somewhat, definitely a
lesson learned. Majority of SCUD alerts and all clear messages were
received through the ICC, and passed from Ilth ADA Bde.
Enemy Battle Damage Assessment (BDA) was received daily and plotted on
an overlay to better understand and physically see where the majority
and/or priorities for destruction were located. Both in-flight and
confirmed reports were received.
