This poem is dedicated to the soldiers in C Co. 82 EN who
gave their lives in Desert Storm:
Our flag is flown at half-mast
For our soldiers that have died,
They lost their lives in battle,
In a desert filled with sand
Through the days and nights
They left behind their loved ones,
Fighting for a country's rights.
We'll remember them in our hearts
Through all the days that come,
The men of Charlie Company
And their families that are home.

For our soldiers in Saudi

The following poem was composed by Jennifer Smith, the
daughter of a deployed soldier with the 82nd EN in Saudi
Arabia.
We're proud to be Americans.
We're proud of the USA.
We know there's a war being fought in.Saudi today.
Saddam doesn't stand a chance.
He'll never learn the secret from the Blue Babe neighborhood.
Our dads are over there fighting and all our friends are too.
But don't worry Blue Babe soldiers.
Because we really love you.
