             Higher's Purpose: VII Corps attacks to penetrate Iraqi defenses and
          destroys RGFC forces in Zone; be prepared to defend the Northern Kuwait
          border against counterattacks.


          . Cdr*s Intent (2 X Higher): On order, VII Corps attacks to penetrate the
          I echelon forces of the Iraqi defensive positions using breaching by Ist
          Infantry Division (M) as the initial main effort to create a breachhead and
          conducts a forward passage of Corps forces to destroy Iraqi RGFC forces in
          zone.
