            14. 483rd's supply due out reconciliation is current,
active and items being cancelled are picked up weekly on re--
order; can't get narcotic drugs like euthanasia solution,
valium for induction or sedation for lacerations, xylazine
for tranquilizing large animals for destruction, etc. COL
Trask will attempt to purchase through blanket purchase in
Riyadh at Veterinary Supply Co. MAJ Gaiser re-iterated that
the drug order turned in by MAJ Record was not just for the
Marine Veterinary Readiness Training Exercise (VETRETE) but
also for 483rd which had no large animal drugs from FRG when
            they deployed.

1S. 422nd MST OIC from Bastorie area, CPT Sutton reported
that the GSU they support moved cut leaving the food and
taking all her communications capabilities; the 62nd DSU
from the Marines will be taking over food. A new additional
Class I receipt/issue point of probable large proportions is
coming into existence by the Airstrip in the '@argest town in
the area and food is being receipt inspected. She also
reported that although an existing Astra Warehouse in Al
Naiy-iyah is supposed to be only supplying Saudi forces, the
422nd is working to make sure no U.S. Forces pick up Class I
because the Host Nation brokers declined letting 9lRs into
the base warehouses. Two new Host Nation warehouses are
being built now to feed U.S. Forces near the new hospital in
the town and CPT Sutton expects issue in 4-5 weeks possibly.

            16. Because 422nd has moved so many times, is rotating
soldiers to different sites to improve training, and has
nioved another part of the team forward, mail is nonexistent.
COL Trask will work with COL Wesson and remainder of 422nd
left at Al Khc>bar Village to resolve and Bastone MST will
pick up mail at Friday meetings from 483rd. Meeting
            Concluded.

            17. COL Trask hand-receipted some veterinary equipment from
MAJ Gaiser to service Riyadh area MWD after SPC Nelms left
with her small animal equipment set for Khamis Muschait.

18 COL Trask met with LTC Lively at ARCENT MEDCOM Forward
at Dhahran Aii-base to coordinate incoming 888th and 356th
Med Dets and HSC/USAEUK@ individual veterinary soldiers
            arriving in next week.

                                          COL, VC
                                          Commanding
