2. ANALYSIS OF WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM.
PHASE I -
1. PROBLEM: Water distribution system wasn't placed in ideal location due
to previously placed power distribution and Red Supply
Tentage.
SOLUTION: Water distribution team must be a part of doctrine tactics
training team for hospital layout.
2. PROBLEMs Water shortage to hospital (3), 3 gallons bladders.
SOLUTION: Temporary solution - Borrow (2) 3 gallon bladders from laundry
and bath. Long term solution - Provide authorize storage
bladder (20,000 gallons).
3. PROBLEMI Weather conditions (sand storm) increased maintenance
requirements due to sand in bladders. Filters had to be
changed daily.
SOLUTION: Provide authorized DEPHED bladder. Self contained units. No
filters required.
PHASE II NO PROBLEMS
PHASE III
1. PROBLEM: Intermediate could not be hooked up to secondary loop due to
T-connector (1-) shortage.
SOLUTION: Temporary solution - 5 gallon water can used at xink in ICW
Wards. Long term solution - provide proper connector* for
complete system.
2. PROBLEM: Minimal care was not connected to water distribution system
due to sinks not included in minimal care sets.
SOLUTION: Short term solution - I nozzle place outside of minimal care
A. Two field sinks supplemented nozzle. Long term solution -
provide authorized sinks. (At least one per 40 beds).
