PR-RVENTIVE MEDICINE AUaMliTATION TEAM AFTER ACTION REPORT
S. At the roguest of the Department of
Public Health the priorities for the post coitrol team were
reviewed. Post control priorities were discussed and it was agreed
that there should be fly control In arose where garbage had been
previously piled. Mosquito, roach and rodent control would be
responded to on the basis of public romplaint.- Sanitation was
stressed as, the )coy to returning things back to normal.
(6) Retrograde Agricultural Inspections.
On return from Kuwait City, the team was tasked by
CG, let 7SSC to provide support for the initial phase of retrograde,
agricultural and customs Inspections for units returning to the
mainland US.
a. Team entomologists and preventive mallicina
technicians received refresher training from US Department of
Agriculture and US Customs perso=el In the perfom=ce of
agriculture and customs inspections.
b. Tean FM personnel were designated senior
inspectors and coordinated with FSSG G3 to provide oversight for
approximately 200 Marine.Corps Agricultural inspectors supervising
the wash-down of thous@s-of vehicles and thousands of to.-a a*
equipment, gear, and personal belongings returning to the United
States; Similarly, the team provided Customs Inspections "or
during the start up period for the retrograde until Marine Corps
ained.
C. Team personnel conducted their washdown duties
in Jubail, Saudi Arabia and I-,% Sheilc Is& and @ama, Ba@in.
