                 Admire sipped t~a with m&rt~ers of the famed "Mu~ahedin,"
         the tribal warriors who battled the Soviets In Afghanistan. He
         turned
         to the c~rnander of the 300 Afghani volunteers and said, "if I
         may, I would like to say that this Is a very unique experience for
         us, as ~erican Marines, to share tea with the Mujahedin in a
         Bedouin test In the Saudi Arabian Desert;~

             The Mujahedin responded with a similar pronouncement, "We are
         honored to serve with our Arab broth~rs and the famous Pmerican
         Marines to restore peace to an embattled regibn."

             It was these multi-national relationships and experiences that
         will hopefully contribute to better understanding and peaceful
         pursuits among nations of the world.
