                          FIRE SUPPORT

    TOPIC:  Establish Target Reference Points (TRPs).

    OBSERVATYtON:

    -  TRPs and ranges difficult to establish without COLT or
actual pace count.

    -  Any dismounted movement must be covered by indirect
fire.

    -  Forward Observers (FO's) must be on high ground to be
effective.

    -  TRPs must be thermal.
