        with the regimental headquarters element, the CSSD, and those left
        behind the border with the regimental rear. All Marines and
        equipment were accounted for by 11 March, 1991. The supply section
        was tasked with moving equipment from the initial assembly area
        back to Kabrit and eventually back to Camp 15. A rear party was
        organized and a permanent base Camp has been established at Camp 15
        for the unit's eventual retrograde. Additionally, all vehicles
        have had limited technical inspections performed; weapons and
        communication's equipment have been inventoried and continuing
        maintenance have and is being performed. Class III ammunition have
        been collected and segregated for turn in.
            All supply equipment at Camp 15 was inventoried and cleaned.
        Preparations for embarkation were started by this Battalion in
        earnest on 22 March. Embarkation boxes have been repaired
        requirements have been identified to higher headquarters for the
        units eventual redeployment to CONUS.

                      compounds located vicinity grid QT 6835 with
                      two companies. Abandoned Iraqi vehicles identified
                      for later destruction by engineers.

        2 Mar 91      Battalion conducts sweep of two agricultural
                      compounds located vicinity grid QT 6835 with
                      one Company. Engineers later destroyed several
                      abandoned Iraqi vehicles.

        3 Mar 91      Battalion conducts daily sweep of the two
