                        TF Ripper to prepare for counterattack operations.
                        3 D7s and 2 115OEs are chopped to 3/11 to dig in
                        artillery in support of the counterattack plan.

                        Threat of attack by Iraqis subsides

          2 Feb 1991    Helo lift of 5 MCLC trlrs, 5 line charges and 12
                        rockets to TF Sheppard

                        DetCEB displaces to new assembly area. Digs
                        survivability positions for TF Papa Bear.

          3 Feb 1991    lst CEB begins movement to new assembly area. stop,3
                        enroute at intermediate assembly area for the night.
