          24 Jan 1991           1/12 planned and executed  another raid near
                                the border town of Khafji  early this morning,
                                firing at suspected enemy  Rasit radar and MRL
                                positions.

          26 Jan 1991           5/11 conducted an artillery  raid early this
                                morning in the vicinity of the southwest
                                corner of Kuwait by firing 65 DPICM at a
                                suspected enemy Brigade HQ. Battery SI took
                                incoming rounds, likely from mortars, and
                                hastily displaced while Battery GI fired on
                                police posts. They also fired counterbattery
                                fires at an enemy artillery battery from an
                                alternate location, which was reported to be
                                very successful.

          27 Jan 1991           1/11 chopped Battery 1, 3/14 to 3/12 and
                                joined Battery 1, 3/11 from 3/11. llth
                                Marines organization remained the same
                                throughout Operation Desert Storm as follows.

          29 Jan '1091          R Battery and  T Battery, 5/11, conducted an
                                artillery raid early this morning from just
                                west of the "elbow" of the SaLidi/Kuwaiti
                                border. No BDA was available.

          2 Feb 1991            The jump CP displaced to Al Oaraah vic DS 42
                                24 and took control of the regiment at 1830.
                                HO and S/S/ll were hit by friendly air after
                                successful completion of a surface raid.
                                Casualties were 1 KIA and 3 WIA.

          3 Feb 1991            lith Marines Main CP displaced at 1230,      -
                                arrived at US 42 24 at 1700.
                                Based on the increased threat, focal security
                                watches were increased to protect the
                                regimental HO perimeter.
