      APC's and several armored vehicles of other                TF sustained no
      casualties. Additional enemy forces identified from 501st Brigade,
      8th Infantry Division.
     -1500, TF Xray landed south of the 2d belt, coming under opcon of TF
      Papa Bear.
     -1600, TF had collected over 1500 EPW's who were guard of A Co, 7th
      Engineer Support Bn, then under a platoon f   rom 1/3/9. The EPW's
      were not transported to the Division collection point until 0200 26
      Feb.
     -1800, 1/1 positioned along the 03 grid line with B 1/1 vic GT 8603,
      A 1/1 vie OT 8803 and D 1/1 vic QT 8903. During the day's fighting,
      1/1 accounted for 43 armored vehicles destroyed,,over 100 enemy KIA
      and over 500 EPW'S. 1/1 sustained 3 WIA.
     -1830, TF Xray was in battle position Xray ready to assume right flank
      guard mission for Ist Division.
     -1900, TF log trains were positioned,north   of the 2d belt.

     TASK FORCE SHEPHERD
     -0515, 'D" Co engages rear of enemy column   of 24 vehicles coming down
      powerline north of Jaber - kills 5 tanks,   .1 truck while Ripper engaged
      lead of column, vi6 OS 734160.
     -0645, "B" Co (with Division) engages@vehicles OS 841981 destroying
      30 EMP'S, 1 BTRI 2 tanks with cobras/25mm 2 tanks and 200+.EPW's, 10@
      enemy killed.: TF Shepherd ordered@to establish screen at 23 E-W grid.
     -0700, Co C, captures 120 EPWs including the 83d Brigade Cmdr.
     -1430, "A" Co destroys 1 vehicle 849136. Uncovers bunker complex at
      865120. 6 ammo bunkers/1 truck, BTR-60s and tanks dug in 865120.
     -1520,'A' Co bunkers w/ammo trench BMP destroyed 868154.
     -1604, 'C" Co Mech Inf Bn surrenders 30-40 (type 63).
     -1705, 'A" Co destroys 12 BMP/dismounts 814187.
     -1715, "C" Co destroys BMP w/25mm receives mortar fire.
     -2045, "C" Co calls A-6 on 901113, 891127, 5 type 63's, 2 BMP's
      destroyed at police post. "D" Co/"A" Co consolidates with COC on 17
visibility to move forward or
      back. "C" Co rear north Burqan - consolidates 150 EPW'S, 2 dead. 50
      APC's (type 63) and small arms captured.
     - TF reestablishes a screenline along the 20 P-W gridline, with one
      company screening right flank along the 88 N-S gridline.

     TASK FORCE TARO
     -0007, C Co, 1/3 captures four EPW's vie OS 8882.
     -0028, 1/12 requests 1/25 to assist with 60 EPW's at their position.
     -0656, 1/12 orients north,to support TF Papa Bear.
      0900, Pride approves Taro requests to move 2/3 north of 3/3 to occupy
      area north of.workers camp.
     -0930, 2/3 reports numerous bunker's and fighting positions
