IOLH ( 500 PPM Contour For flnhgdrous flmmonia at
The Industrial Citg Samad Plant in Jubail
The map of the dispersion scenario shows tgpical night time
metearological conditions for Jubail area during the month of
December. flng wind direction will carrg any air pollutant over
the industrial area. The wind direction is considered to be the
worst case if it is NW, because it will carrg pollution towards
the town of Jubail. With an inversion layers combined with
a low wind speed the dispersal rate is very low. There is
therefore a resultant larger IOLH area. Compare to the
typical day time conditions scenario. This danger area will
be maintained until the volume of spilled ammonia has
totally eueporated.
Remember that in all the cases the IOLH area will have much
higher concentrations at the core of the area or pollution
'footprint'.
