              23 Feb    BUMED promulgated additional guidance to 13 Feb CONPLAN for
                        CONUS medical support

              23 Feb    COMUSNAVLOGSUPFOR requested COMUSNAVCENT concurrence for
                        alternative to SIM for supplying hospital ships

              24 Feb    COMUSNAVCENT concurred with hospital ship resupply plan, with
                        provisions

           27 Feb    Because of low casualties, CINCFOR recommended to JCS that
                        services continue to expand to current attainable capability
                        vice "build to" capacity

              27 Feb    SECNAV announced special pay extended to reserve medical and
                        dental corps officers activated in support of Desert Shield/
                        Storm
