                opened and donned.


                Main body +or Gal+ Co arrives. Engineers aboard to
                construct hard backs +or waras and SST/ PreOP complex.
                Digging and placement of MCESS units began. Combat
                Stress Center personnel on board.


                Fox Company's first surgical procedure, an appenoectomy,
                performed by LCDR Richard Morand, MC, USN.


    20 Jan      Delta Co has stand down.

                Fox Company ribbon cutting ceremony official opens
                Foxtrot Surgical Support Company. Honors by LCDR R. K.
                Boehm, with General C. C. Krulak and CDR W. G. Brown in
                attendance. Invocation by LT Steven Brown, CHC, USN.
                First official patient admitted to Combat Stress Center.

    21 Jan      Charlie Co advance party to Hobo Alley.

                Delta Co's HMC Martin arrives at AL Kibrit with partial
                gear. Entire company at Al Kibrit.

    22 Jan      Charlie Co second party leaves +or Hobo Alley.

                First patientss Medivac'd to Fleet Hospital 5, Al JLtball
                by helocopter. Snowers begin operation.

    23 Jan      Remainder a+ Charlie Co arrives at Hobo Alley.


                Delta Co sends CPL Diggs to Promotion Boaro.

    25 Jan      Charlie Co moves 500 yards north to DSG-2 CSSOC site
                named Plainview.


    27 Jan      H&S Co PMU team departs to support DSG-2. Battalion
                receives aerial alert at MOPP 4.


                Delta Company augments Foxtrot Company along With 2d
                Dental Company. Plans to expand camp are initiated.

    2E3 Jan     Charlie Co mass casualty drills begin.

                Work on Gal+ Co complete.
