    05 Feb      Plans altered: Delta Co (2d Med), Hotel Co, and Lima Co
                (lSt Med) Will be relocating North and establishing a
                major facility at Al Khanjar.


                Lima Co receives warning order to breakdown and move from
                Raas Al Mishab to Al Khan3ar.


    06 Feb      Charlie Co in holes +or a brief time due to enemy Melos
                reported in the area.

                Delta Co sends TAD, 17 personnel to DSG-28 including all
                vehicles.


                Planning meeting attended by: CDR Breeden, CO Ist Med Sn,
                CDR Brown, CO 2d Med Bn, LCDR Whiteman, Company
                Commander, Hotel Co, LT Barendse, Company Commander, Lima
                Co, CDR Adsit, SMO, Lima Co. Problems discussed: Location
                of air strip/ Decontamination/NBC/ Laundry, hospital and
                staff Blood Bank, Medevac Helos.

    v7 Feb      Plans being finalized for Hotel Co's move north.
                Personnel preparing for movement.

                Lima Co CO to Al Kibrit meet to discuss site survey.

    08 Feb      Meritorious promotion board +or LCPL to CPL and CF,L to
                SGT held at H&S Co.


                Delta Co XQ takes advance party to Al Khanjar -
                construction phase.


                LT Hawkins directed to depart for Al Khan)ar in tne
                morning to begin excavation site +or new complex to
                accommodate a Surgical Support Company and two Collecting
                and Clearing Companies. Hotel, Delta, and Lima Companies
                hold meeting to discuss the Al Knanjar facility. LCDF<
                Whiteman, LCDR Slough, and L.CDR Orebough desiqn an
                initial architectural design for the trauma center.
                Lima Co commences break down at Ras Al Mishab.


    09 Feb      LCDR Whiteman, LT Welch, LT Hawkins and an advance party
isplace North to Al Khanjar. Advance
                party's mission is to stake out an area tnat is
                appropriate and commence with construction. Plan is to
                work through the night as there are no light
                restrictions.


                Lima Co CO attenos meeting at Al Kibrit for final layout
                and design consideration, break away and unit integrity.
