               a. The Navy representative reported the Navy Forwar
           was operating smoothly with its eight personnel. The
           laboratory's polymerase chain reaction equipment is in p

                C. Distribution of the anthrax smart kits in theat
           begun and it is reported from theater that they will be        I
           down to the level of the battalion aid station.

           8. Recommendations.

               a. Additional ciprofloxacin or doxycycline should n@
           purchased at the present time.

               b. The Joint Staff should send a message to CENTCOM
           regarding to the use of the doxycycline.

           9. COL Tomlinson adjourned the working group at 1100.
