hyperemia and edema of conjunctiva, edema of lids,
epithelium and stroma of cornea are damaged.

corneal ulcers or perforation of the anterior
chamber.

a. Onset may be more prolonged with effects
occurring 2--36 hours after exposure,
initial signs/syzaptoms are those of acute
tracheobronchitis

airways with later pseudoraembrane formation;
alveolar hemorrhage; usually followed by
infection
c. Approximate tire course for moderate exposure
2--4 hours: cheat tightness, sneezing,
rhinorrhea, epistaxis, hoarseness,
hacking cough
4--16 hours: sinus pain, mild tachypnea

tachypnea
24--48 hours: severe dyspnea; alveolar
hemorrhage; bronchopneumonia
d. Primary lesion is damage to airway wall
