S. An explosion at an oil field or a terminal area would involve primarily
hazards from the explosion of raw crude oil. Health and safety presentations
rL6ted earlier in a refinery explosion should be considered.
6. Specific health hazards from fertilizer, pharmaceutical, or other
petrochenlical related processes in the Kiddle East could not be obtained
because the individual countries have classified these plants as military
targets. Xt is reasonable to assume that health hazards from an explosion in
these plants could be s @ lar to those in a refinery explosion.
