                (i)  17 January 1991 - At 0300C blrs, the Persian Gulf War
                begins with the bombing of_Baghdad.
                (1)  18 - 19 January 1991    Mod Base America was established
                with an interface botween the Army 947tb Clearing Platoon,
                ., bile Aeromedioal Staging Facility (MM     and the T@oromcaical
                Staging racilitT,(ASP)- That interface was designed to
                Cacilitate the    flux ;f aeromedical evacuation from the Corps
                areas as well as evacuation from BAC hospitals to theater rear
                areas and strategic evacuation to Europe.
                (k)  19 Janu@Lry 1991 - 343d Medical Datachmer.Lt (RA) assuzed EAC
                area Medical support for Xedevac missions.
                (1) 21 January 1991 - Established initial contact with the
                $Ooth Military Police Brigade to coordinate medical support to
                EPW Camp Brooklyn.
                (m) 23 January 1991 - Admitted first patient (U.S.) into the
                803d Medical Group's EAC hospital complex (See Figure A).
                (n) 25 January 1991 - Conducted basic decontamination team
                training for 30 soldiers of the Group.
                (o) 26 January 1991 - Deployed medical support to EPW camp west
                (Brooklyn) consisting of a Dental Team from 123d Medical
                Detachment (Al), a Clearing Platoon from the 947th MCI the 75th
                .%led Dot (OA) for sick call to UP's, and four to six Ground
                Ambulances from the 477tb MC. As prisoner population 9=-amded,
                assets from 114th, 350th and 365th Evaes were added as will as
                the 424th Medical Lab. Iraqi EPW medical personnel were
                also utilized to augment U.S. medical personnel.
                (p) 30 January 1991 - Decontamination-exercise was conducted
                for the Group's common decontamination site. A total of 20
                patients were decontaminated.
                (q) 2 February 1991 - Briefed NEDOOM Commander on the Group's
                evacuation plan in support of the Xvill and VII Corps rear
                Hospitals.
                (r) 3 February 1991 - The Group conducted a COMEX to test its
                Hospitals, Mod Base America, MRO and its Evacuation
                assets.
                (s) 3 February 1991 - Briefed Brigadier General Prix, ARCENT
                Deputy Commander on the medical evacuation plan of the 803d
                Medical Group.
                   * Evacuaeion Plan identified shortfalls in personnel for the
                   24-hour operation of:
                     33 U.S. Ambulances
                     22 German Ambulances
                     14 Ambulance Buses
                     MBDCOM and PERSCOX responded  by  providing 101 personnel
                   to support the vehicle augmentation.
                (t)  8 February 1991 - All 1200 potential beds   of the throe
                803d Medical Group Evacuation Hospitals became   operational.
                (u) 8-9 and 15-16 February 1991 - 803d medical   Group conducted
                two Medical Exercises (NEDEX's) with Mll and     VII Corps
                hospitals testing the total evacuation system,   medical
                regulatory system and internal hospital procedures.
