                           (1) (U) Assume command and control of units !.kW ANNEX
                 A, (TAS@m- ORGANIZATION).

                           (2) 'rfW  Provide area medical support to units on an
                 area basis VIC KKMC as shown in ANNEX -, (0@'ERLAY).

                 LOC.

                 capabilities, provided such assistance does not interfere with
                 the military mission.

                           (8) (U) Be responsible for medical care and treatment
                 of civilians and Enemy Prisoners of War (EPW) detained or
                 captures by U.S. Fo-ces. Care and treatment provided these
                 individuals will be consistent with the provisions of the Gene-,-a
                 Convention.

                      9.        47th MEI)SOM/980th MEDSOM (Al Khobar).

                           (1) (U) Provide medical supply, optical and medical
                 maintenance support to the theater.

                           (2) (U) Act as the single item manager for theater
                 Class VIII A supplies.

                           (3) (U) Provide theater optical fabrication support.

                      h. -tl&+ 2d Medical Detachment Dental (AI) (Riyadh).

                           (1) (U) Assume command and control of units IAW .%N\EX
                 A, (TASK ORGA'41ZATION).

                           (2) (U) Provide EAC dental support in the AOR.

                           (3) (U) Be prepared to reconstitute VII Corps, and
                 XVIII Airborne Corps.
