                    (2)  Units  will use local water supplies' as available for
                         ,decontamination and request additional water as needed
                         from CSSD-26.


                    (3)  Ensure all required NBCD equipment/medicants are issued.

                    (4)  Ensure sufficient amounts of consumable decon site
                         supplies are on hand to support defensive posture.

                    (5)  Ensure portable decon apparatuses are filled and ready
                         for use.

                    (6)  All NBC casualties will be evacuated separately from
                         noncontaminated casualties.


                    (7)  Contaminated material will be kept separate from
                         noncontaminated material and will not be moved until
                         decontamination has been completed or disposition has
                         been made.


           S. COMMAND AND SIGNAL


               a.   See Annex K (Communications-Electronics).

               b.   The Fox NBC recon vehicle will be marked with black X's on all
                    six wheel hubs to ease in friendly recognition.    The team's
                    call sign will be the regimental NBC officer plus permanent
                    expander *F" (foxtrot).

               c. All reports will be in accordance    with reference (a).    Initial
                  NAP 1             II N. IPT AC P            d -nsml tted via RLT
                  TAC 1.   Subsequent NBC I reports and NBC reports 2 through 5
                  will transmitted via RLT 2 or most expeditious means possible.

               d. The following NBC alert conditions are defined:

                    (1)  Condition-WHITE


                         (a) NBC attack is remote.

                         (b) All personnel continue primary mission with
                              individual protective gear at hand.

                    (2) Condition YELLOW


                         (a)  NBC attack is probable.

                         (b)t Activate control centers and report activation to
                              next higher headquarters.

                         (c)  Effect maximum practical dispersion of material.
